Sri Ganganagar College of Ayurvedic Science and Hospital of the existence year in the year 2004 is one of the leading colleges situated in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. This constituent college is concerned with the provision of quality education in the field of Ayurvedic system of medicine. Affiliated to Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) it offers a variety of courses in Indian systems of medicines. The four year old institution has a faculty of 34 members who are dedicated to produce qualified professionals in the branch of Ayurveda. Located in close proximate to RIICO Busstand on Hanumangarh Road, the college teaches and facilitates research in this ancient form of medicine.

The campus also provides a hostel separately for boys and girls who have air cooled with basic facilities in low charges. Most hallmarks include the 100 college hospital bed equipped with a diagnostic hall which has X-ray, 3D spiral C.T scan, Blood test, ECG, EMG, digital X-ray, mammography & EEG Brain mapping. This hospital also offers student practical teaching experience and is also a referral health institution for the general population. The knowledge center of the college, its library has access over about fifty thousand books belonging to the core, functional as well as applied sections and the subscription of the leading national and international journals.
SGCollege offers only four full time courses out of which one is an Undergraduate Programme and three are Postgraduate Programmes. BAMS course has an intake capacity of 50 students and each of the three MD courses namely MD Swasthvritta, MD Rachana Sharir, MD Dravyaguna Vigyan have taken an intake of 5 students each. There are no exceptions, each course will contain the theoretical foundations of Ayurveda and the practical application. It is clear that the college aims at ensuring that good standards are preserved in a college by the offered courses and by the small number of students enrolled so that more attention can be given to each student.
The admission policy of Sri Ganganagar College of Ayurvedic Science and Hospital, comprises merit based admission procedure and a proper framework. For the BAMS programme the admission to candidates is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is the common medical entrance examination in the country. Before admission into any of the MD programmes, prospective students need to take and pass the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). These entrance exams help to ensure that all the students obtaining admission to those programmes are the best in the country. The college conforms to the admission time table which usually follows these national level examinations that are normally held once a year. There is no much information regarding scholarship information but the institution is well known to support quality education for needy students.
