Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education was set up in 2006 and is an affiliated college situated at Khankot,Amritsar,Punjab. This is a co-educational institution recogniesd by the National Council for Teacher Education – NCTE thus meeting the set quality in teacher training. That is located on 10 acre land and it is encouraging 26 college students and 7 members of faculty. Currently, the institute has only one course – B.Ed – for 100 approved student-intake to shape the educators of the future.

Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education can rightfully speak of its infrastructure designed to ensure student learning and personal growth. It currently possesses a collection of more than four thousand books, sixteen journals, and four periodicals that should meet the needs of learning successfully.
