Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College was founded in 1979 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and is one of the most reputed educational institution. Located in a 5.39 acre plant, EIILM is a cosmopolitan college offering a wide and extensive choice of undergraduate and post graduate courses. Currently, the college offers the intake of 2036 students while the faculty is comprised of 69 members only thus affording the college all deemed qualities of offering conducive environment for aspiring students.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College has made provision of adequate facilities to cater for the needs of college going students in their academic and personal endeavours. Sports facilities are a very big playground where children participate in activities like athletics, hockey, table tennis, volleyball and kabaddi. In a line with this, the college boasts of seven computer laboratories which contain 350 terminals with internet connection. Students are also free to use the large reading area right next to the library. To enhance practical learning, the college has functional Laboratories such as Psychology Laboratory with different apparatus and psychological tests.

This college has a rich range of courses to offer from various fields of study. Currently, the institute offers 31 course codes within 16 programmes of study to address students’ various fields of concern. The B.Com with specialisation in Computer Applications, Tax procedure and Practice, B.Com ( Honours) B.Sc in Physics, Mathematics, Computer, Science, Biotechnology, Zoology, Chemistry and Botany, BBA, BCA, BA,BA LLB, B.ED and post graduate programmes like M.Com, M.Sc Physics, MSW etc.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College also opt for Merit based admissions depending on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. Besides, for some of the courses such as B.Ed admissions are given on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as permissible under the policy formulated by the state government /University. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Bar Council of India (BCI), for the excellence in offering teacher training and law courses respectively.
