Sri Krishna Saroj Mahavidyalaya, Auraiya: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sri Krishna Saroj Mahavidyalaya has set up in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, India in the year 2014 that aims to deliver best academic experience to the students. Established at Umarsana Kakor this is co-educational college spread over a land measuring 2.47 acres. It is one of affiliated college and it has got approval with the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE which maintain with the education standard of the country. The institute currently awards two degree programs to a total student enrollment of 130 student capacity served by a staff of 14 qualified faculty members. The college has many infrastructures which aim at improving teaching and learning facilities of the college. The essence of these comforts comprises a comfortable library with a vast number of books, journals, encyclopaedas, and magazines. 

This library works at the basic structure of NCTE norms for the B.T.C. program and has both, the national and global journals for subscription. To meet the practical teaching and learning needs the college boasts of well-equipped science and psychology laboratories. The science lab is outfitted with current, innovative equipment and apparatus as is the psychology lab which accommodates the needs of the B.T.C program. All TY students will benefit from both indoor and outdoor games facilities coupled with a large playground for the college. Furthermore, the campus comprises of an assembly hall to accommodate events, seminars among others, a health centre providing first aid services and an adequate ICT divulge to enhance technological learning. 

Sri Krishna Saroj Mahavidyalaya currently offers two full-time courses: D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) and B.Sc, Bachelor of Science. The D.El.Ed program takes two years to be completed, has an approved strength of fifty students and comes with a fee structure of ₹ 82,000/- only. In contrast, the B.Sc program is a three-year course program, offered to students who have passed their advanced level examination or equivalent according to the IUS regulations. Though the distribution of the comparative quantum of the number of seats for the B.Sc program has not stated it can accommodate 130 total students to the college. Both programs are aimed to ensure students’ successful experience in the chosen field and further academic or professional practice.

The admission procedure at Sri Krishna Saroj Mahavidyalaya differs from program to program. The admissions to D.El.Ed (B.T.C.) programme are done through counseling which is regulated by District Institute of Education and Training (D.I.E.T.). as per norms of Govt. This helps offer a good chance and quality standard of selecting those who wish to join service as educators. In case of admission to the B. Sc programme, the college adopts merit as a factor to admit students into the college. Candidates who want to apply for the University are selected through their performance on the Intermediate exam, contrary to better positioned students. This approach strives to uphold Academic integrity, and admit students who have qualified to take the challenges of a science course.
