Sri Padmavathi Women's Degree and PG College, Tirupati, is a premier institution dedicated to women's education. Postgraduate admissions are conducted through the Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test (SVUCET).

There are many B.Sc programmes available here at Sri Padmavathi Women's Degree and PG College, such as Mathematics, Physics, Biochemistry, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Biotechnology, and Home Science. The college takes students into its folds based strictly on merit. The intake capacity of different courses in the B.Sc is between 50 to 100 seats.
The college offers B.A programmes in combinations such as History, Economics, Political Science, Advanced Telugu, English, Sociology, Philosophy, Indian Culture, Psychology, Social Work, Geography, Population Studies, Mathematics, Accountancy, and Statistics. Sri Padmavathi Women's Degree and PG College admissions are merit-based, with intake capacities varying from 10 to 120 seats depending on the specific combination.
There are two B.Com programmes: B.Com (General) and B.Com with Computer Applications. Both programmes take in students on merit. The B.Com programme takes in 240 students, and B.Com with Computer Applications takes in 120 students.
The college offers M.Com in Finance Management Self-financed programme. Sri Padmavathi Women's Degree and PG College admission is strictly based on merit against the candidate's score in the SVUCET. The intake is 40 students.
The Postgraduate programmes in Organic Chemistry and Physics are offered as self finance programmes. The admissions to these programmes are also based on the scores achieved in SVUCET. For every M.Sc programme, there are 30 seats for admission.
