Sri Pragathi Degree College which commenced in 2006 is one of the known co-educational college in Nellore of Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college is located across the R&B Guest House in Kota, SPSR Nellore District. The college occupies 2 acres of land and the learning atmosphere in the college is thus well facilitated. As of now, with 338 total enrolment of students and 10 highly qualified members of the faculty and staff.

The college has several amenities with an aim of improving the learners’ experience besides fostering their success. A library should contain useful information for students, which means that together with texts and diagrams, there should be references needed on a daily basis. The institution also has department based laboratory to achieve practical aspect in every field of study for student. To aid its teaching faculty the college has well developed IT facilities for enhancing the overall college experience. As for student’s health physical, the College provides sports amenities and friends to ensure that students take enough exercise besides their studies. A health centre provides the services of the first aid to meet emergency medical requirements.

In total, Sri Pragathi Degree College provides its students with three full time undergraduate courses. These programs are offered depending on the desire for an academic and career path. The college has a total approved intake of 160 students which is spread over all their offered programmes. The largest number of students intakes are provided by the B.Com in Computer Applications programme with 60 seats, B.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science as well as B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, each having 50 seats.
