Sri Raaja Raajan College of Engineering and Technology (SRRCET) was started in 2010 and affiliated to the University of Madurai Kamaraj University Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu. It has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the following is the list of engineering courses, which the institute provide. The SRRCET is spread over an area of 11.73 acres of land and has a total student enrollment of 646 and employing 80 members of faculties.
A total of 8 courses are offered across two degrees in engineering at the college namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
This institute has strong service support with lightning-strike students’ learning resources and accessory facilities. The campus has a separate arrangement for the boys and girls hostels, canteen and washing facilities, etc. A rich library equipped with more than 8000 volumes of books and publications and several online references and resources are important academic facility.
The college has first aid and it also has a gym for the physical health of the students. For better teaching learning process the college has well equipped laboratories and internet facility is also available in the college campus. The total approved intake of students for engineering discipline in the institute is 324. While the B.Tech and BE programmes takes four years to complete, ME programme usually takes two years. Their admissions are based on 12th standard marks and relevant entrance exam scores. The total approved intake for undergraduate engineering programs is 360 seats.
M.E.: There is an M.E. Programme offered by the college in Computer Science and Engineering. Thus admission into the program depends on the performance of a candidate in TANCET as well as bachelor's degree results. The approved intake for this postgraduate course is 24 seats. Relevant B.E./B.Tech degrees are eligible for applying.
