Sri Ram Institute of Teacher Education (SRITE) was set up in 2007 with an aim of providing quality teacher education in New Delhi, India. Located in Dwarka sector of capital city, Delhit, this is one of the co-educational institute preparing future teachers. SRITE is function as an affiliated college, and it achieve the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) proving the quality of its education. The institute at present has an 8 acre Campus, which is an ideal place for learning. The total student intake capacity is 162 students, while the faculty members currently stand at 16 hence giving SRITE a good student faculty ratio.

Sri Ram Institute of Teacher Education comprises two B. Ed programs which are full time. The B.Ed program is open for 100 students while the D.El.Ed program is open for 50 students. Both these programmes are aim at preparing students and endowing them with all the knowledge and skills required to become professional teachers. These courses take two-year duration and because of this they offer intensive training and exposure. Combined with only two courses and two degrees availed to the public, SRITE is more or less intertwined with specialized education in the teaching field.
