Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy Opened in the year of 1993, Chennai is constituent college of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. This esteemed institution located in Porur, Chennai was established to cater the need of pharmaceutical education in the country for almost three decades now. The college is affiliated to AICTE, New Delhi and PCI, Delhi which makes the college uphold the standard of education required in the field. This institute has 59 dedicated faculty members which provide 10 different courses under four degree programs to meet the various specializations in the field of Pharmacy.

In order to provide letter and personal development of its students Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy is fully furnished with infrastructures that are of modern society. The college possesses a forty thousand square feet’ library consisting of Medical and allied health sciences, Engineering and technology books, and medical Journals, etc which are 63518, 5195, and 1282, respectively.

The institution also hosts and accommodates students in comfortable hostels for both males and female with 3,608 rooms on the compound. Hence Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy has a variety of Pharmacy programs to cater for any future pharmacists. It offers 10 regular courses of which five are at graduate level, one at diploma level and rest are post graduate courses offered at the institute are Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and various Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) specializations. 

The B.Pharma program is one of the most sought after programs which have an approved academic entrance capacity for one hundred students while the D.Pharma program admits only thirty students per year. Post graduation at present offered are M.Pharma courses on the following specializations, Pharmaceutical Analysis 9, Pharmacology 9, Pharmaceutics 15, Pharmacognosy 9, Pharmacy Practice 9, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs 9. Further, it awards 10 seats for Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate program.
