Affiliated Sri Sadhana Degree College started in the year,2002 is situated in Jawahar Nagar, Markapur, Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. It is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education and provides a wide catalogue of undergraduate courses. The college is located on a very small piece of land measuring 0.6 acre and has a total of 1423 students, and 26 faculty members. This college offers 10 programs in total under four degree types and it is focusing on Education, Commerce and Science programs. This college has state of the art facilities that show its determination with regard to quality college education for students. 

The amenities available at the college are intended to promote the quality of learning within learners. The library is equipped with multiple facilities containing more than one thousand books, research Journals, Competitive Magazine, and Periodicals for the student’s necessary materials for their academics needs. College infrastructure is also well-developed particularly in Information Technology with modern laboratories with fifty computer systems, projectors and LED television screens. The college offers sports facilities for students who engage in extra activities involving games and body building besides having an approval for a special auditorium for events like seminars. The campus has large and smart classroom in order to ensure that student’s environment is effective for learning. Moreover, it has separate hostels for boys and girls in four floors, however, there are accommodation facilities for the students. For day scholars the college provides luxurious buses in order to transport them from town and from different villages. 

Students have an opportunity to be awarded 10 courses that are all full time and offered at Sri Sadhana Degree College. The college offers combination of B.Sc, B.Com, B.Ed, and D.Ed It is a government aided college situated in Kakinada. For all other courses, the approved intake for all the courses combined is 540 students, provided the D.Ed program is not included for which the intake statistics is not available. All these diverse range of programs aims to meet each students’ academic concentration and career path.
