Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery is a leading dental college in Vikarabad, Hyderabad, Telengana started in 2001. Located in a sprawling 30 acre land it is a co-educational college being recognised from Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and sanctioned by the Dental Council of India (DCI). This institute has secured accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) proving its ability and willingness to deliver quality education. Sri Sai College has a student turnout of 621 and has 138 faculty members, it offers 10 courses from two programmes and focuses on the different aspects of dental science.
Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery has seating, sporting and other equipments to support academic and social development of students. The seven thousand two hundred and thirty-eight square feet of the library accommodates five thousand two hundred and odd books, fifty-five journals, and five hundred dissertations besides twenty computer sets and institutional subscription to EBSCO. In practical training, the college has functional laboratories in basic medical science and oral pathology divisions. A pre-clinical laboratory, phantom heads for each student as well as an Operating theatre simulation lab offer close to real life clinical practical training. The college also has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls in order to provide status facilities to out-station students. Other facilities include fitness centre, playgrounds, dining hall, and a hall with air-conditioned classrooms for accommodating one hundred and fifty learners each.
The Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery provides all sorts of dental education programmes. The B.D.S. programme is the first professional course offered for the undergraduate, and there are one hundred seats available in the course. At the postgraduate level the college offers MDS programmes in nine specialisations as follows: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Prosthod smash; and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Oral Medicine & Radiology and Public health Dentistry. Every MDS programme provides from 3 to 6 seats depending upon a student’s interested domain in the specialties of dentistry. All are day programmatically geared which guarantees an intensity and concentration on the subject-field.
In this college, admission to all courses is regulated according to the merit of the child and follows the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. For the BDS programme, admissions are offered to the candidates who passed NEET UG examination and who applied in response to the university’s notification for Management quota seats (B&C Categories). The MDS programmes makes it mandatory for the candidates to clear the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET-MDS). These, National Level entrance examinations make sure that the college is entering students who have a sound knowledge in sciences as well as genuine interest in dental field. Sri Sai, Hyderabad College of Dental Surgery, is basically reputed for its superior grades in dental education. It provides BDS and MDS degrees in variegated disciplines of dentistry at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels respectively. The admission into this dental institution is flexible and consists of attaching the national entrance test for admission into the candidates selected as qualified and deserving. For the BDS Program:

3. After the announcement of Management quota seats (B & C Categories), apply for KNRUHS counseling.
4. Take part in the counselling process as per the schedule declared by KNRUHS.
5. If allotted a seat, join Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery for document verification and admission formalities.
For MDS Programs:
1. Register and appear for the NEET MDS examination.
2. Qualify with valid marks in NEET MDS.
3. Apply for the MDS counseling process as notified by respective authorities.
4. Participate in the counseling and seat allotment process.
5. Report to Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery for document verification and admission procedures, if awarded a seat at the institution.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.D.S (Bachelor of Dental Surgery): Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery admits 100 students for the BDS course. Applicants are enrolled into the BDS course based on the merit of participation in NEET UG. Candidates should respond to the announcement made by KNRUHS concerning Management quota seats (B & C Categories). The course duration is four years followed by a one-year internship.
M.D.S (Master in Dental Surgery): The following nine specializations in the MDS course are offered at Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery:
