Sri Sai College of Education, Badhani was established in the year 2004 is one of the leading college of the region committed towards their aim of building up the future of Education. This co-education college is in Gurdaspur, Punjab and is spread over an area of 6.55 acres. It has also obtained recognition by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) as an affiliated college guaranteeing standard quality in teacher education. Offers three distinct programmes in education with a total cohort enrolment of 331 students and faculty of eighteen committed educators. Sri Sai College of Education has a fleet of modern facility that has been deployed to compliment the learning process of students in the college. The Sri Sai College of Education has a narrow specialisation on full time courses on Education stream only. The institute provides three programmes: It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Education (M.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). These courses are intended for addressing different levels of preparation of a teacher, from basic to higher. The B.El.Ed Programme being at the heart of the college offers an intake capacity of two hundred seats. While the M.Ed programme provide 50 seats for the aspirants, the D.El.Ed special programme also contains 50 seats but is more compact and intense. In total, the college is equipped for 300 students by different programmes, which positively affects the formation and improvement of the qualifications of educators in this area.

Sri Sai College of Education follows a centrally planned admission policy criteria, which is ethical and merit oriented. B.ED Programme: Admission criteria in B.ED Programme depends upon the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination wherever applicable as per MBA- State Government, UT administration policy affiliated University. The format of the M.Ed programme is similar with additional emphasis on performance in the qualifying examination or entrance test, as per rules and regulation of concerned authority. Similar to many institutions, the D.El.Ed programme also maintains entrance merit, according to state and UT policies, based on marks in the qualifying exam/entrance test.
