Sri Sarada Niketan College of Science for Women, our college situated in Karur was started in the year 1987 is one of the most sought after women’s college in Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, spread in an area of 52.34 acres, has been preparing youth for the past 33 years. Having total of 586 students and forty-four faculty members, this institution has chosen 27 courses in 12 areas of study. In aprticular, the college boasts of its membership of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) which is an indicator of its quality standards. Sri Sarada Niketan College of Science for Women encompasses a range of sophisticated equipments that are used to improve on the college delivery. Located centrally at the campus is a modern library with a collection of more than 11353 books with 31 magazine/journal subscriptions. Technology can be clearly seen in the institution through a well-equipped computer laboratory which has 51 sound systems with LAN connections and an air condition system. All the aspiring scientists can avail adequate and well developed labs in Physics, Chemistry, Computer sciences and Microbiology. It also includes a spacious auditorium which can host 1500 students, needed for all academic and cultural sessions on the campus.

Sri Sarada Niketan College has nineteen full courses to offer and two part time classes. Education is offered across the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels and thus, covers a wide area of academic disciplines. The college graduated 149 students in the latest year. The courses are MA in Tamil and English along with the modern and popular disciplines such as B.Com Computer Applications and Microbiology.
