Sri Sathguru Sangeetha Vidyalayam College of Music and Research Centre was founded in the year of 1959, situated in Madurai of Tamilnadu, and is a revered institution. This affiliated college is NAAC accredited and is dedicated to providing music education for its students. Established as a private college on a 1 acre of land, the college has 2 courses in music at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The institute has a total enrolment of 82 students  which makes the course and faculty wise ration 7:1 thus, it keeps the institute small and personal. The student body is diverse, with a 70:30, for undergraduate to postgraduate students, and an escalated 80:20 female to male student proportion.

The BA Music acts as the fundamental degree at the college, and the MA Music as it introduces students to more complex ideas and MA Music as it allow them to conduct advanced research.
