Sri Sharada College, Udupi, is a college started in the year 1972 and is situated in Basrur, Kundapura Taluk, Udupi Districts of Karnataka State. The institute is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) that emphasises on quality education. Located in a campus of 7.68 acres, the college has five undergraduate programmes for which it admits a total of 462 students. The institute has a teaching staff of 20 members among its faculty in order to provide students with proper attention. Sri Sharada College offers a broad curriculum of subjects within Arts, Commerce, as well as Computer Applications sections.

Through these facilities, Sri Sharada Colleg is well equipped to provide modern facilities for the improvement of the learning process to the students. The library, which is of considerable importance in every college, possesses a total of 30760 books in its collection. Among its features is Easylib automation software that comes with many facilities such as bar-coded borrowers acknowledgments and Online Public Academic catalogue (OPAC) for proper arrangement of books. Although the library does not provide access to computers with broadband internet, students can use computers found in the library with access to reprographic services. The college also concerns itself with the physical health of students by offering sports campus and gym facility. To improve the delivery of digital learning environment, the campus of the school has wifi connection so as to allow students or lecturers to surf the internet. Other facilities include, a chefs kitchen, student cafeteria, infirmary with emergency facilities, basketball and football courts.

Sri Sharada College offers 5 full-time undergraduate programmes. These undergraduate degree programmes offered are Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Every one of these programmes takes four years and equips students with the knowledge and skills in their selected industries.
