36 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma programme offered by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- Age:- A Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
- Should have studied during his/her 10+1 and 10+2 examination as a regular candidate from a recognized board. The Candidate should be required to submit a certificate to this effect from the Principal/ Head of the Institute Last attended in the prescribed Performa.
- Qualification: –Gnm candidate with any stream. For post basic Nursing candidates must passed Gnm and For MSc Nursing candidates must have 1 year of experience after Bsc Nursing or Post basic Nursing.
- Medical Fitness: – The Candidate should be Medically fit, as declared by our medical board.

The admission selection of Candidates from amongst those who have applied for admission will be on the basis of merit in PPMET.
