About Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, crafting the future of education: The well-reputed college, affiliated in the year 2002, is in the process of preparing prospective teachers for more than two decades. The college campus is established over 0.77 acres of land, with a compact infrastructure, making a close interaction between the students and faculty possible. It ensures utmost care and guidance toward students due to the convenient number of only 99 students and a faculty strength of 8 in total.

Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education claims to have state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities that add to the overall learning process. A library replete with numerous resourceful educational materials is at the disposal of the students. As regards to the campus, the departmental laboratories are excellent for practical learning. An auditorium conducts group activities; lectures function here to help students acquire a better academic vibe. The college also has its cafeteria, a health center with first-aid, and a guest house for the visiting faculty and family members. The institution also lays importance on physical well-being, as sports facilities and a gym are in place for the student to balance his routine between academics and physical fitness. 

At present, Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education has only one full-time course: the B.Ed. programme. This two-year programme, at present, has an approved intake of 50 students, which shows class control in the college that endeavours to assure quality education. The B.Ed course is designed to develop in its students the knowledge base, skills, and practical experience to be employed in discharging the duties and responsibilities associated with the teaching profession. The focus on one specialised programme ensures that resources are channelled in a befitting manner, and all aspiring educators are provided a complete and in-depth educational experience. 

The procedure of admissions at Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education is purely on the basis of merit according to the directions of state government, UT Administration, and affiliated university. The prospective students are assessed based on their performance in the Qualifying Examination and/or Entrance Examination.
