Sri Vari College of Education was started in the year 2006 and is established at Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational college for both sexes with the 5 acre area and its main focus is to produce qualified educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education of India – NCTE Sri Vari College of Education provides excellent education for the teacher training courses. The college currently has a total enrolment of 79 students and is staffed by 9 highly qualified teachers to provide better students-teacher ratios.

Sri Vari College of Education has numerous amenities with various state-of-art infrastructures to facilitate the college learning. Of logistics / academic resources, there remains a well-stocked library containing about five thousand five hundred books, national and international magazines and journals included. Internet computers in the digital library and barcode system to make various information accessible to students and faculty. This making it essential for the college to offer sufficient practical laboratories in existence they include Psychology Lab, Physical Science Lab, Biological Science Lab, Mathematics Lab, Social Science Lab as well as Education Technology Lab. Sri Vari College of Education has only one principal course offered currently, being the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a full-time course which also takes two years and the commission sends down 50 students at a time.
