Sri Vengateswaraa Polytechnic College was started in the year 2007 and it is an affiliated college in Namakkal of Tamil Nadu. The college affiliated to GTU approved by AICTE offers diploma courses in engineering stream. The institute allows a small number of children to be taken in, that is a total of 233 students and 50 members of the faculty. The college also covers five diploma courses in many specifications of engineering to meet the needs of technical personnel and engineers. The Sri Vengateswaraa Polytechnic College aims at delivering quality technical education so as to build technocrats and professionals of high repute to cater the needs of employing sectors in the field of engineering.

Sri Vengateswaraa Polytechnic College has provision of a number of amenities that are aimed at improving learning achievement and personal growth of the learners. These courses cut across all engineering fields allowing students to chart their own course depending on their preference. The total approved strength for all the five courses put together is 180; this shows that the college is expandable to meet the gusto of young enthusiasts who wish to pursue engineering.
