Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy came in existence in the year 1995 and is a well known college situated in Madhapur near Hitec City Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. This affiliated college approved by the Pharmacy Council of India PCI offer pharmaceutical education with various programmes. TMC is a college with a student enrolment capacity of 82 students and employs a faculty and staff of 38 committed faculty located on a 0.5 acres plot of land. It offers six courses in its four degree programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy has put in place many facilities that would improve learning achievement as well as all round student development. A well equipped library is an important facility, which has various vital requirements of an academic endeavour. Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy has a different admission process depending on the course programme being offered in the institution. For the admission into B.Pharma, and Pharm.D programmes there is admission through Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Admission to M.Pharma courses depends on the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) scores although counselling is done in the presence of the University PG Admissions Director. The Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate for admission offered for students through the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) ranking. The D.Pharma programme admissions are controlled by the State Board of Technical Education which provides admission on merit basis at intermediate level. The college has a well-developed Training and Placement Cell whose primary responsibility is to invite companies to the college campus and to coordinate the entire placement drive for its final year students with a view to offering the best pharmaceutical job opportunities.

The college follows a laid-down admission process that varies from course to course. Admission usually starts before the new academic session which begins in August-September every year. The college admits students for various programs based on different entrance examinations. TS EAMCET is the basis for admission into its B.Pharma and Pharm.D programs. For the M.Pharma programs, graduate pharmacy aptitude test (GPAT) scores are used; and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programs are held through TS PGECET rankings.

The total intake capacity of the college stands at 82 students across programs. Eligibility differs between courses, e.g. Generally, for an undergraduate course, a student must have completed his or her 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or another relevant course is needed for eligibility in postgraduate courses. April 28-29, 2025, will be the important dates of TS EAMCET 2025 that will be concerned with Agriculture and Pharmacy. The dates for TS PGECET 2025 will be during June 15-18, 2025.

Degree wise admission process
B.Pharma: Admission in this college for the 4-year B.Pharma program is TS EAMCET scores. Under this program, the college has 60-seater capacity. Candidates who have completed a 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology qualification are eligible for this program.
M.Pharma: Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis courses are available under M.Pharma at the college, each having 15 seats. Admissions will be purely based on GPAT scores. Counseling in the presence of University PG Admissions Director will have to be completed before finalising admission to the program. The minimum eligibility is a B.Pharma degree.
Pharm.D: The 30-seater entry is available through the 6-year program. This will be based on the TS EAMCET exam. Eligible candidates should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: Enrolment is based on TS PGECET ranks and is conducted through counselling in the presence of the University PG Admissions Director. The seating capacity is for ten. This is a 3-year program.
D.Pharma: This program is a two-year program in Diploma Pharmacy, with 60 seats. Admissions are conducted by the State Board of Technical Education based on merit at the intermediate level.

It is also called as D.Pharm. To take admission in D.Pharm, Applicants must have passed 10+2. it is 2 years duration course and students who want to open their chemist shop or even druggist shop.
