Sri Venkateswara Polytechnic College was started in 1985 which is a well-known technical college in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Set under a vast plot of 9.61 acres, the college was founded to shape the future engineers for the nation and has been catering to this cause for almost four decades. As an affiliated college admitted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it presents a number of diploma courses in engineering trade. These are Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Computer Engineering (CE), and Civil Engineering. The college was approved an aggregate capacity of 390 students for all the courses offered and within the college, Mechanical Engineering has the highest capacity of 180 students.
