Sri Vidya Mandir Arts and Science College was started in the year 2000; it is one of the leading arts and science colleges in Salem, Tamil Nadu. This is an institutionalised college that has a great offer in terms of courses offered across several fields. The college also boasts of a health centre to qualify the first aid requirement for the students. For sport lovers, the college provided a spacious gym that is well equipped with necessary gym equipment. Athletes and other sports lovers can avail of the different sports amenities. That is why the best efforts have been made to maintain the balance between academics and sports programs.

The Sri Vidya Mandir Arts and Science College provides different specialised courses of academic field of study; the college presents 37 learning programmes of various levels. These include undergraduate, postgraduate, Master of Philosophy, and Doctor of Philosophy, thus creating an abundant chance for higher learning and research among the students. Computer Applications, Commerce, Science, Art, and Management Studies are the various academic fields catering to the college with its course portfolio.
