Sri Vidya Vihar College of Education, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, is the college that serves as an esteemed institution for the improvement of the future of education. This college for boys and girls was founded in 2009 and it has been training upcoming teachers for more than 10 years. The college occupies a limited space of 4.11 acres and due to the fewer numbers of students enroled (149) and faculty (14), the college assures quality education to the students. The college has been equally proud of the fact that it has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college has effectively equipped laboratory facilities to teach practical sessions to students in the areas of psychology, science, computers, educational technology, & language. Despite the size of this library, it hosts over 6,000 selectively procured books, textbooks, reference books, and even a number of educational journals. At present, Sri Vidya Vihar College of Education only consists of one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This is a two-year full-time course whose objective is to produce highly qualified teachers to meet society’s demand.
