Sridevi Degree College and PG Centre, Tumkur, was started in 2006 and is an affiliated college located in the centre of Karnataka. This institution is situated on Sira Road, NH-4, and is imparting education to the young minds from the past more than fifteen years. The college comprises 12 acres of land, and provides academic success and vibrant infrastructural development. Sridevi Degree College has 137 students enroled and a faculty of 10 people, which allows for a concentrated academic process. The institution has three programmes that admit students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels to give every student a variety of education.

The library, with a vast stock of text books, other research works, and journals of various fields collected for use by the college community. Not only is it a book that houses a collection but also computerised ones, smart card systems, web OPAC, and easy book reservations. For those boys and girls in particular to show their prowess in sports and games, Sridevi Degree College and PG Centre  has modern infrastructure like a volleyball and basketball court and ground, a cricket practice area and a fully equipped gym. 

This college has a well-resourced facility, competent staff, and concentration on commerce and computers; the college still remains a vital training ground for its learners. It also has a contemporary information technology facility, as this has allowed the students to solve problems using the most recent technology. The college has a facility for the hostels for students and these are dedicated for boys and girls separately, where the boys have a facility for 800 and the girls 300 students each, that too has round-the-clock security and a solar water heating system.

Sridevi Degree College and PG Centre admits a total of three full-time, regular programmes as its courses. The college offers undergraduate courses BCA, B.Com, and postgraduate courses M.Com. Based on the above approval, each of these programmes has an approved student intake of 60 students, making a total student intake per course to be 180. This focused approach is effective in providing much attention and quality lessons on commerce and computer application.
