Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore was established in 2012 which is a private college for the students of dental which is under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. This institution is located in Surathkal, Mangalore, and the institution has made a good reputation in the field of dental education. Situated in a 5-acre campus, the college provides a 4-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program to the undergraduate students and innovative Masters and PhD dental programs to the postgraduate students. Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences comprises of five courses, in which one is undergraduate course known as Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS); four courses are Post Graduate specializations known as Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme takes five academic years and has an approved student capacity of one hundred students. Currently, at the postgraduate level, the college provides the following MDS programs: Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, the course of which lasts three years. The number of students enrolled is 324, out of these 91% are under graduate students while 9% are post graduate students. For instance, a higher percentage of female students in the institute; 80% students in the BDS program and 67% in MDS programs.
The action plan followed by Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences or its admission committee includes admission criteria following the merit system. For the BDS program, any candidate who qualifies the NEET is eligible for admission to the program and has to go for seat allotment through the Karnataka Educational Authority Counselling. Likewise, the admission to the MDS programs occurs, once the candidate clears the NEET MDS examination. This was updated to 18/07/2024 to 19/07/2024 for online verification of joined candidates for NEET-MDS Round 1 Counselling as per the schedule released by the Regulatory authorities of Admissions.
The college also provides scholarship chances for students in need hence disbursing funds towards the same. Out of 294 undergraduate students in the academic year 2023, 65 students eligible for reimbursement, and out of 30 postgraduate students, 5 students claimed for the reimbursement proved the institute’s vision to provide quality dental education at an affordable cost. Although details of achievements by former alumni are not documented, the current list of an active alumni indicates that a majority of the graduates are actively participating in dentistry and its related fields.

The location of the college is quite good , I would say there are fans everywhere but I would still prefer Ac as the temperature of the the city we are living is quite high . And there stiff chairs but I would prefer rolling ones .
I'm right now studying in srinivas dental college manglore and I fell the infrastructure here is pretty average. maybe because of the weather but the lab infrastructure is also very poor but they have started to renovate it now I wish this might get better in the future
