About SIT Mangalore
Srinivas Institute of Technology or SIT Mangalore, is a part of Srinivas Group of Colleges, Mangalore. SIT Mangalore was founded in 2006 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Council of Architecture. SIT Mangalore is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. SIT Mangalore is accredited with grade “B” by NAAC.
SIT Mangalore offers 24 courses in engineering, architecture, management, and computer applications at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The undergraduate courses offered by SIT Mangalore are B.Tech and B.Arch. SIT Mangalore offers M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses at the postgraduate level. At the doctoral level, the college offers PhD courses in various specialisations.
To enrol in B.Tech courses at SIT Mangalore students must have a valid score in KCET/ COMEDK examination. Students who clear the COMEDK UGET cutoff have to attend the counselling process. Admission to the B.Arch course at SIT Mangalore is based on marks obtained in NATA exam.
Students interested in pursuing M.Tech courses at SIT Mangalore have to appear in Karnataka PGCET/ GATE examination. Admissions to the MBA course is based on the marks obtained in CAT/ Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT/ CMAT /MAT examination. MCA admissions at SIT Mangalore is based on the score of Karnataka PGCET examination. For PhD admissions at SIT Mangalore, students are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained by them in the previous qualifying examinations.

if you are asking for rank of SIT, Tumkur then let me tell you that SIT, Tumkur rank according to 2019 year it was 79.
College has decent curriculum with all core branches. The placements here is also quite good. It has good reputation in Mechanical branch also CSE, IT and ECE too.
All basic facilities are good with good teacher student ratio.
Better place and option to pursue Engineering.

Hello,
Aeronautical Engineering in SIT, Mangalore is good, with good and educated faculty members, and feasible cost for the course. But, the placements and job opportunities are little less. The companies visiting the campus every year won't provide a salary package of more than 30,000. There are also no internship opportunities, and also, no proper workshops are conducted. Other than that, you might be a little disappointed with the campus infrastructure and lack of medical facilities in the campus. Also, the hostel facilities are not at all commendable. The institute is good in case of teaching and learning, but there are definitely better institutes in India for the course, with better internship opportunities and placements.
