SRINIX College of Engineering was established in 2009 at Ranipatna, Balasore, Odisha. This institution, being located on a campus of 10.01 acres, is affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SRINIX provides engineering programmes and an MBA course, and these are five total programmes combined across two degree levels. Currently, the college has a student population of 1306 and a teaching staff of 56, giving a factor of proportion of almost 1:23. SRINIX, instituted with a view of offering technical education, sees its role as preparing students for the market in engineering.

The total number of 6 full-time programmes that SRINIX College of Engineering is offering, including B.Tech. as well as MBA. The B.Tech programmes range across civil engineering, computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering programmes. In total, the college is capable of admitting 450 students on all levels of study across all the courses it offers. Computer Science and Engineering is the flagship programme with 120 students’ intake; Mechanical Engineering is next with 90 students intake; and the Civil and Electrical Engineering departments offer 60 students intake per year. The MBA programme also has 120 seats available. These programme offers include a wide variety of engineering disciplines and management studies to accommodate the different goals of learners.

The admission process of SRINIX College of Engineering is mainly done through e-counselling by the OJEE Admissions Committee of Odisha. For B.Tech programmes, the students need to take JEE Main for 4-year B.Tech programmes or Odisha JEE for 3-year B.Tech programmes. The college directly accepts the scores of the following two popular engineering entrance exams to maintain a fair admission. Admission to these courses may differ every session. However, students are encouraged to check the JEE Main and OJEE every year, which are generally held in the first half of the calendar year.
