SS College of Education for Girls, Bhikhi. This college for women is a self-financed and managed college located in Bhikhi, Mansa district of Punjab, which was started in the year 2005. This women-only college is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and aims at producing future educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college now provides a number of courses in education at the undergrad and post graduate levels. Established in a vast area of 8.94 acres of land, the institute provides education to 387 total students and employs 25 faculty members in total. Being fully aware of the need to deliver quality education to women, SS College of Education for Girls offers three specialised courses to address different aspects of teachers training and educational management.

The facilities offered by the college also include a full package to ensure comfort and an effective learning environment for the students. The campus has a modern library stocked with over 2300 books and nursing journals, making it simple for students to get most of their educational needs met. Two fully air-conditioned computer laboratories allow students and faculty to develop presentations and browse the internet for research. It too has large comfortable and properly ventilated ladies hostel facilities, which can be made comfortable for outstation students. Other facilities are an open hall for conferences and meetings, recreation facilities, a basketball court, volleyball courts, mini football field, weightlifting, and a health post/clinic. canteen facility deals with food and essential needs of the students and the staff The transport facilities are available for the people to travel to and from the campus.

SS College of Education for Girls, Bhikhi, has only three full-time courses offering programmes of education and teacher training. In detail, the institute enrolled 387 students in its programmes despite offering multiple courses. The college offers two types of undergrad and one postgraduate course, which are B Ed, M Ed, & MA Education, respectively. These programmes are intended to prepare students for faculties of education with adequate skills that will enable them to practice what they learn in the faculty.

The admission procedure of SS College of Education for Girls, Bhikhi is conducted on the basis of its cut-off list issued for marks in the qualification and/or entrance test. Admissions for the B.Ed. programme, therefore, are conducted in compliance with the policy set by the state government, the UT administration, and the university. Same is the procedure for admission in the M.
