SSGS Degree College, Guntakal was found in 1984 and is an affiliated college in Andhra Pradesh, India. The institution is located in the 14.6 acre campus, and it enrols students in a wide and extensive list of undergraduate courses. SSGS Degree College has total population of 1271 students and total faculty strength of 37 to maintain proper guidelines for study. The college boasts a student gender ratio of 3:1 year old with a male to female ratio and is NAAC accredited. With 12 courses across four level degree programmes the college has specialisations in Commerce Science and Arts streams.

The college has Adequate and efficient central library facility under the control of a qualified and experienced librarian of the college. More to the extrovert student who wants to learn something about physical training, the campus provides sports equipment and gym. Technological development is also given importance by the college: computer technology resources are provided to the students and these computer and its software and hardware are maintained by the Department of Computer Science staff. The programs and courses that SSGS Degree College offer are both extensive and varied. The institution offers twelve full courses in undergraduate studies in diverse fields. These are B.Sc programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, Botany and Zoology; B.Com programmes including the Computer Applications; BBA; and BA in History, Economy, and Political Science.
