The St. Ann’s College of Education, Venkatapuram, was started in the year 2003. It is well known as the Cruise College of Education, and it mainly focuses on teacher education. Is an academic co-educational college germinating in Venkatapalem-Mudigonda Mandal, Khammam District of Telangana, covering a vast area of 4.942 acres. The institute offers its educational courses under the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). St. Ann’s College of Education has a student population of 199 and faculty of 15 members, which makes the teaching and learning environment sensitive to produce qualified teachers.

The college currently offers only one degree programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), which is proposed to admit 100 students and which reflects the college’s mission of producing quality teachers of the future. The college has other provisions that have been made to supplement the achievement of the students. Out of all sources of academic literature, the library is the most prominent, decorated, and equipped with all the necessary furniture and a vast array of books. It also provides a book bank facility; in this manner, the issue that students can’t afford books due to cost is solved. The current college IT facilities include 15 high-configured computer systems, an interactive board that includes an LCD projector, and Internet and WiFi connections all over the college. With this digital format, learners are informed of the latest educational technologies, as well as advancements in teaching pedagogy.

St. Ann’s College of Education is specific to its B.Ed. programme offered as a two-year full-time programme. Due to this specialised approach, the institution will be designing its resources and efforts towards preparing professional educators.
