St. Ann’s College of Nursing, Tuticorin was started in 2010, affiliated with Tamil Nadu, India. It is women-only college which is affiliated with INC which makes it one of the best colleges of nursing in India. The college offers two full-time nursing programs: Two of them are B. Sc Nursing and the general nursing and midwifery course (GNM) for a total of ninety students per year. Located just behind Tuticorin old bus stand, the college is attached to the Sacred Heart Hospital and students are exposed to some clinical practicals.
The college has various facilities that are in place to improve the functioning of the students. The library which is a Wi-Fi enabled unit has seating capacity of about 150 readers and there are more than 6,000 books on various subjects to cater with latest publications stocked every time. On the practical aspect, the college provided efficient laboratories with updated medical instruments and teaching materials to enable the students to gain proper nursing skill in teaching hospitals.
