its good but lacks innovation for PwD inclusion, less place to walk around, and no place to sit by during lunch. Infrastructure is so bad that it can not accommodate all the students enrolled at a point, and students need to keep moving for classrooms.
good but little or no guidance during project work. No coordination between faculty, no control on the syllabus, no proper feedback system. feedback is not taken positively. syllabus lacks vision and adaption of important topics.
Zero Placements. Sciences do not get any field-ready exposure to the job expectations. no campus placements. and placement cell has no programs for the science students, rarely if they do have any the placements are all bad. no skill enhancement programs or career guidance sessions
Not worth the course fee, no social life, and no exposure to fieldwork. no encouragement for innovation.. zero support during course time. heavy prices for additional fees for exams or seminars and laboratory charges.
no campus life due to the strict attendance rules and packed schedules. Schedule is fully packed leaving no time for spending extra curricular activities like sports or library. Fests and celebrations have no role for science students.
St. Francis College for Women is a hub a learning, exploring and a community of women coming together to build a greater future! It's beautiful infrastructure was built in 1959. It does have everything needed for the equipping of students. The living space is always maintained clean and they also cultivate the students to develop a sense of cleanliness in the campus. The facilities of the campus are well-maintained and are adequately used such as smartboards, spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, an indoor stadium along with volleyball & throwball courts and much more!
I am currently pursing Bachelors in Management Studies because I have been exposed to the environment of management and have been trained to cultivate that mindset. This field of study excites me and pushes me to become better, stronger both mentally & academically. The quality of teaching in the Department of Management Studies is very good, especially the interactive sessions where we learn our weak points and work on them. Yes, our curriculum is updated from time to time and includes everything that is required for us to build a secure future and help others! So, i believe that this makes us future & job-ready, they teach not only the textbook but the corporate life and that is what matters.
The quality of placements in our college is excellent. Companies such as Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, PwC, KPMG and others come to college to select the best students for the company. The highest salary package in the Department of Management Studies according to my knowledge is 22 lakhs p.a. Our college and our department stands supportive in all our ventures and advises us in every step of the way.
My course costs 88,000 rupees per year. Yes, I do feel that I am getting my money's worth of education. The exposure, knowledge, support, advice, interactive sessions, college & campus experience. Above all the bond that we have with our lecturers & friends is something that we cannot put a price on!
My own experience in the college is beautiful. I entered the college with a clueless face and as I explored the campus, I can say that I have my own sweet spots. I love the indoor stadium where I can play and improve my physical fitness. The library is the most peaceful place in the campus and the best place for book lovers! The college does take precautionary measures but it needs to focus on it more in case of any emergency. Drills need to be practiced by the faculty & the students.
There are 2 main buildings one for UG and one for PG. The infrastructure is not too bad, there are renovations taking place as well. The washrooms can be improved. The classrooms have the basic infrastructure inclusive of Projectors as well! The library has a plethora of textbooks and books and the staff do order in books whenever a subject requires it. The indoor stadium is the main sport complex, has basketball court as well, they are all maintained well. The main canteen however needs to be changed, we saw rats in the space. We also one main huge auditorium where some events take place on top of that we have 2 smaller halls, where some competitions take place and speakers from all across the globe give their speeches.
I did my Bachelors in Economics, Public Administration and Social management. The teaching faculty was fantastic and were very well versed in their teachings as they have been teaching since years. The curriculum definitely needs to be updated and on par with what is being taught in other colleges! The teaching staff would also appropriately use all the technical aspects of teaching! There would also be timely tests taken on the topics we had covered in the classes.
I did not go through placements as I wanted to pursue something else first. However our college does have a placements cell, and does educate students on how to answer aptitude tests. However, I believe due to a downside in the market, this was a year where there were lesser placements taken place but still many got placed from BCom bacgrounds or Bsc bacgrounds, very less from a BA bacground. the average salary was around 25k for a fresher, I unfortunately do not know much apart from this.
Our course costed around 30k per year. We students do believe that the fees was utilised efficiently and college gave us a lot of skills like presentation and that requires some technology aspects as well hence we felt our fees was utilised quite adequetly.
Campus is not huge, its in Begumpet, which is in the middle of the city so people came from all over the city and it was easily accesible, the bus stop was nearby, the metro station to college walk was under 10 minutes. The campus has a lot of focus on greenery and there are many spots where a lot students spend time outside the classrooms. There is a big canteen and one small mobile canteen where students spend much of their free time. The indoor stadium was also mostly open if we wanted to play any general sports like badminton, basketball, etc. The campus is beautiful and there are some plantations and focus on bio degradable aspects as well. The support staff quite helpful as well.
The college campus is green, lush and has all sorts of facilities. An open campus surrounded with green cover and ample sunlight is what is needed for a better education. Every classroom has a projector installed to meet the modern standards of teaching. All the laboratories are well maintained with the equipment and the indoor stadium is like a cherry on the cake for other institutions.
The quality of studies meets high standards. The curriculum involves the holistic development of the individual if carefully focused upon and paid attention to. The faculty is also good and provide hands-on experience. There can be little improvement when it comes to the real time courses and learning, but it can be fulfilled with the implementation of National Educational Policy.
The placements are good and a quite good number of students are placed in the top companies. Training is also provided for the individual to equip them with the skills necessary to pass the rounds conducted by the company. Efforts from the individual's side and also the market can play a major role in the placements.
My course costs around 70k per year and i feel it is little expensive but the overall development of an individual is what makes me want to write positive about this college.
The location is a residential area, there can be few issues with the parking and all but rest everything is top-notch. The lush green campus is amazing. Additionally, the campus also has composting sites, leaf thresher and other equipment for a sustainable living. The support staff, faculty and everybody is supportive enough.
Since the times have changed the needs have too, and although they do have the basic facilities it still depends on traditional infrastructure. Inspite of this the college maintains hygiene on most days.
I am studying BCom Honours due to my profound interest in the field of finance and commerce. The curriculum is updated from time to time however it lacks in inclusion of recent developments in the field of study.
The quality of placements have been deemed to improve over time! A good proportion of students across all the streams are placed with a decent pay for a fresher although the pay differs based on various factors.
St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, is an exceptional institution with impressive infrastructure and rigorous hygiene standards. The college offers 24x7 water facilities, washrooms on every floor, and maintains a clean and organized environment throughout. The faculty is highly qualified, neat, and disciplined, contributing to a well-structured education system. Students benefit from various amenities, including good food, clean water, sanitary pad machines, vending machines, and well-maintained labs and library facilities. Compared to many other colleges, St. Francis excels in providing a clean, supportive, and academically excellent environment.
Currently studying B.Sc. in Math, Statistics, and Computer Science, I find the academics here generally good, but St. Francis truly excels in its commerce courses, the BMS course, the BVOC course, and specific arts courses. For these programs, the college is amazing. However, when it comes to B.Sc. programs, not every course stands out. The teachers can be a bit chaotic at times, and their explanations aren't always clear. While B.Sc. at Francis is decent, it's not the best choice compared to B.Com., B.A., Business, or BVOC programs, which are exceptional. As a B.Sc. student, I can say the Computer Science department is outstanding, with nine labs, each equipped with over 40 systems, lab faculty, and proper facilities including ACs and projectors in every class. Students can practice anytime in these well-maintained labs. In contrast, the Math and Stats departments are less impressive. The faculty is fine, but they don't match the facilities and organization of the Computer Science department. The library also features a computer lab for student use, enhancing the overall experience, though it's not for recreational activities.
Genuinely speaking, while St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, boasts about its placements, my experience as a final-year student has been less positive. Placements and internships do come to the college, but they primarily select students with high academic records, specifically a CGPA of 8.5 or above, making it challenging for average students, especially those in science, to secure placements. With only a few students from each department getting placed annually, it’s clear that maintaining a high CGPA is crucial. This reality makes 100% placement an unrealistic expectation for many students.
In my first year of graduation, currently pursuing B.Sc. in Maths, Statistics, and Computer Science at St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, I observed that my total fee was ₹38,000. This increased to ₹42,000 in my second year and to ₹48,000 in my third year. Despite this increase, the fees are still relatively low compared to other colleges that charge over a lakh. However, it’s important to note that these fees do not cover picnics, field trips, or additional workshops; they only include the regular curriculum and daily classes. On the positive side, students do get exposure to extracurricular activities such as sports, NGC and Bharat Scouts and Guides & also all the facilities Iike clean drinking water, hygienic washrooms and electricity with also projects in every single class and pad vending machines in every washroom I can say that the fee is good value for money
The campus of St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, is truly amazing, adorned with plants everywhere and featuring an indoor stadium, volleyball court, quadrangle, stage, auditorium, two halls (Geroza Hall and Capitano Hall), and lifts for faculty. There are separate PG and UG blocks, though UG students sometimes use the PG block. The campus boasts nine official computer labs, language labs, departments for each subject, projectors in every classroom, and well-maintained benches. The large canteen includes a juice stall, coffee and tea stall, grocery items, general snacks, fast food, and proper South Indian breakfast. Stationary provides facilities for Xerox and stationery items, and there's a core room for students interested in music. Additionally, there's ample parking for two-wheelers, while four-wheelers are reserved for faculty. The indoor stadium is spacious for various indoor games, and the volleyball court accommodates outdoor sports. Students can relax in the aaram viram and also enjoy the bio garden.
Good infrastructure and facilities available Those wanting to pursue sciences, different laboratories with various new equipments are available. Library filled not only with our course books but also various other novels.
I am studying BMS (bachelor of management studies). The course curriculum is amazing. It is a very practical based course which makes the student industry ready. Love the teaching approach of using ppts, assignments, industry visits.
We have heard from our seniors that the placements are good. We get companies such as delloite , de shaw, Goldman Sachs etc For internship in the second year, we get only three companies- de shaw, goldmansachs and arcesium
Course cost - 80,000 per year Yes, it is worth the money because the placements are good and the way they polish you for the future makes it easy for you to get jobs off campus as well. The Return on investment is good.
Campus is filled with greenery, ponds etc We also have a recycling pit to maintain cleanliness. Everyone is really sweet. But we have to follow rules such as knee length kurti or else they won't allow you inside the campus and the attendance part is really really strict.
Good experience. Pros - good placements, nice exposure, personality development Cons - Strict rules regarding dress code and attendance
our college is really good with it and at present they have even started with the new constructions which is making our college way easier than it already is. every class has a white board with helps us in better learning
All are teachers are really cool ,they try to explain us twice to thrice with patience. they are quite understanding and obviously it's not with all teachers but a few I am lucky that I got good ones
placements depends on hard work. The best companies would be coming to our college and mostly sciences will not be getting much opportunities in its always commerce students its favorable to them mostly
its resonable.for a degree basically you won't be paying much so..its okay with the amount that they have asked even the condonation fees that they take is also pretty low when compared to other colleges
Its fun being with friends, getting good ones and sharing our college life is really going to get a difference and I am happy enough that i got good ones and when you are with them its never hard they help you out in need and teachers too are pretty easy and the events that would be going on in our college boosts our interest to come to college
College infrastructure is pretty good and classrooms are maintained with high care we have different types of labs and we have smart boards in every class. College campus are very neat and food is also good
I am studying Bcom hons because it is the top and best course they are offering in St Francis and the faculty teaching us are highly qualified. There are time to time updates and developments in our curriculum.
The best thing about St Francis is their placement offer because we get into top most companies. Nearly 85-90℅ students choosen every year. I think many students opt for higher education so many of them don't choose placement options
My course cost 75000 per year and I think it's really better price for the course I chose and I feel I am getting more than money's worth because apart from academics they encourage us into a lot more things.
College campus is good we get to many friends. The best feature is the campus is very big. Students engage in many clubs like coffee club., la fiesta club etc. It is very safe in college because the guards are very alert and college can handle any emergency.
No
College infrastructure is really good. You can chill in a lot of places. The canteen food is yum. You get a lot of places where you can spend time . It's really peaceful and picture worthy. In the classrooms we have a projector which helps the teachers to present their subjects which makes the class interesting . Every floor has a washroom and disposal sanitary pads are also available which is great.
I got to know about this college through my cousins and ofcourse it is one of the top rated colleges in Hyderabad. Academics are good.. teachers are nice and friendly.... Few teachers can really be better.
People join St. Francis because it has good placements. It's true.. the process is really seamless... A lot of students get placed in reputed companies. The teachers guide us well in a way where we are ready for the interviews.
It's just a little above average in terms of Curriculum. The extra curricular activities are great.. there is a perfect balance between studies and events. The discipline which is taught is really nice.
Campus Life is the best. You get a lot of exposure to different things. You get a lot of opportunities to showcase your talents. It's really competitive. The college area is really safe.
The college is really amazing. You can develop yourself as a person to face the world after college. You are going to have a great time in St. Francis College.

Hello shubhi
Please read this article I think you can easy to understand.
The quality of education is excellent. The best infrastructure in Hyderabad.
Placements: As my course is organic chemistry, there were not many placements related to work in the field of the laboratory. We had placement opportunities in international schools. That too was a good platform for the students who are interested. And few students were recruited in the college as an assistant professor.
Infrastructure: The best infrastructure in Hyderabad including medical facilities and sports. Good 5 years spent in my college with so many good memories with teachers and friends. The quality of education is excellent. All the teachers prepare so well for there classes including preparing presentations. The canteen food is also good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Most of them have completed their Ph.D. All the practical classes were very helpful and make us industry-ready. The teachers were very helpful in all our projects and preparations. The curriculum is perfect for the course every student requires to have the curriculum knowledge to work in the industry.
Other: The course is really enjoyable. It was fun learning and experimenting in the lab. We had many chemistry related competitions and fest. All the events and extracurricular activities were given equal importance along with education. It is a good platform to open up and explore your talents in your college life.
