St Joseph's Teacher Training Institute for Women, Mandya Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The library is well-equipped, spacious & bright. It can accommodate 100 students. It has 4300 valuable reference books and reading material. Students utilize these books and gain knowledge. There are Encyclopaedias, Journals, Magazines, Newsletters, subject-related books, Novels, Dictionaries, and many other items.

The college has a Science Lab with modern equipment, chemicals, working and non-working models, charts, and specimens for various experiments across different branches of Science. Students enjoy doing experiments as they experience a perfect scientific atmosphere. 

The College has large, spacious, well-ventilated, and well-furnished 2 classrooms for 60 students each and 2 methodology rooms for 30 students each.

The College: We have a full-time Physical Education instructor. Students are trained in Athletics, Team games like Volleyball, Throwball, Kho Kho & other recreational games. We have fetched the Team & Individual championship in Yuvajana Mela & other competitions. To foster this, we provide all the sports equipment to be used by the trainees.

The college has a provision for hostel construction made available. In the year 1966-67, the ground floor saw completion, and later in 2004-05, the first floor was completed.
The ground floor consists of 20 bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining hall, a luggage room, and a good number of toilets. The first floor accommodates a prayer room and a study hall. Amenities like a Television with a CD player, a Telephone and a Solar heater for hot water have been provided. Further, we have (24 hours) round-the-clock, uninterrupted water supply. Every student in the hostel is given ample opportunities to develop social relationships, a sense of belongingness, and healthy growth in spirituality.

The College  Auditorium ensures the maximum use of college facilities. It is a large and beautiful auditorium that is used for various academic and cultural programs. It is spacious and attractive. Many programs are conducted regularly in a well-organized and pre-planned manner.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Our ICT room consists of 20 PCs. It is spacious, well-equipped with a projector display system, and can accommodate 60 students at a time confidently.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
