St. Mary’s College Malappuram was started in 1996 as the affiliated college in Perinthalmanna, Kerala. Located on a 10 acre land, this university provides variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Currently, the college enrolment is 1,342 students, and the college has 72 members of faculty. The college provides 16 courses in 7 different degrees in many streams from Arts, Science, Commerce to Management respectively.

MA in English and Economics is offered at post graduate level and at the M.Com level the college offers M.Com in Finance. All courses are full-time and regular courses. The total approved intake of the courses is from 36 to 68 depending on the programme of study.

Degree wise Admission Process
BA Programs (English, Economics, History, Political Science): The admission in BA programs is through CAP of the University of Calicut. They should have completed 10+2 with relevant subjects. The approved intake differs in English (40 seats), Economics (50 seats), History (48 seats), and Political Science (40 seat).
B.Sc Programs (Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Chemistry): The admissions for B.Sc also fall under the CAP system. The students should have taken science subjects for 10+2. The Mathematics program is approved for 68 seats while Psychology for 40. The intake for Physics and Chemistry programs is not specified.
B.Com Programs (Computer Applications, Finance, Cooperation): Registration with CAP is required for each of the B.Com programs. Each specialization in Computer Applications, Finance, and Cooperation has an approved intake of 40 seats.
BBA and BCA: Both programs admit students under CAP. The approved seats for BBA are 40, but the number for BCA is not specified.
