St. Soldier Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2010 and is one of the largest institutes situated in Jalandhar, Punjab. This affiliated college recognised by AICTE, New Delhi, which presents a wide spectrum of engineering & management courses. SSIET is set in a composite area of 19.02 acres with total student enrolment of 737 and faculty members 66 in number. The institute aims at delivering high quality technical education and encouraging the student community for innovations.

The B.Tech programmes cover the following areas of specialisation: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, and Tool Engineering For the postgraduate students, SSIET provides Masters in Technology in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. Mr. Rawal stated that the institute offers an MBA programme for the managers in waiting. SSIET has the total approved intake of 737 for all the courses offered integrating the equal student faculty ratio with a view of effective teaching-learning practice.

The admission procedure in St. Soldier Institute of Engineering and Technology is as transparent and efficient as possible. For B.Tech programmes, the admission process usually takes into consideration the qualified scores in the national or state level entrance tests, then the counseling system.
