St. Stephen’s College of Education for Women has a traditional B.Ed programme that is a two-year full course. This programme is meant for improving pre-service teachers with skills, knowledge, and values to perform duties needed in teaching learning contexts. The college has got a approved intake capacity of 100 students for the B.Ed course out of which the college tries to maintain a sound student teacher ratio with excellent quality. The admission policy of the St. Stephen’s College of Education for Women is based on merit in accordance with the policies laid down by the state Government, U.T. Administration and the University to which the college is affiliated. The courses are through the qualifying examination result and/or entrance examination with the placement tests. The college may also add other processes of selection in compliance with the current educational policies.
