Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8,00,000 per annum. 

A valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government is to be enclosed. 

National Scholarship Portal

Various scholarships are available under the National Scholarship Portal, and the eligibility depends on the type of scholarship. Common criteria include financial need, academic merit, and social background.

Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme

Widows and wards of the deceased/ ex-service personnel of Armed Forces are eligible.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship

The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal and pursuing education at the higher secondary level or above in an institution in West Bengal. Family income should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum. Academic merit is a key consideration, with varying cut-off percentages for different levels of study.

Ekalyan

The candidate must be a domicile of Jharkhand, belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC), and family income should be less than Rs 2,50,000 (for SC/ST) or Rs 1,50,000 (for OBC) annually. The candidate should be pursuing post-matriculation or professional courses.

West Bengal Freeship Scheme

Merit rank in State Level/National Level Entrance Examination.

Candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.

Annual family income of the candidate must not be more than Rs. 2,50,000.

Oasis Scholarship

Candidates must be residents of West Bengal, belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories. 

The family income of SC/ST students should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 annually, while for OBC students, it should be less than Rs 1,00,000 annually. This scholarship applies to post-matric students.

Vidyalakshmi Scholarship

Vidyalakshmi Portal provides access to multiple education loan and scholarship schemes. Eligibility depends on the scholarship or loan selected, and requirements usually include Indian citizenship, financial need, and academic merit.

Vidyasarathi Scholarship

Vidyasarathi provides a range of scholarships offered by companies for students pursuing education at various levels. Eligibility is based on the specific scholarship program, and the primary factors are academic performance and financial need.

Pragati and Saksham Scholarship

Pragati Scholarship is for girl students, and Saksham Scholarship is for differently-abled students. 

The family income should be less than ₹8,00,000 per annum. 

For Pragati, up to two girls per family can apply, while Saksham requires a minimum disability of 40%.

The infrastructure of the college was good and facilities and amenities of good quality were there. The classrooms were well-maintained. The hostel food was awesome and the rooms were huge and of good quality. The library was fine and the living areas were clean.

The college infrastructure is well and good . There are a lot of well furnished classrooms, labs, cells , gym and also the common rooms. There is a big playground in our school and also a badminton court. There is a canteen where very hygienic quality foods are served. But the negetive thing is that there is no hostel facility.

Infrastructure is a old building with sufficient lab and classes. Not very bad. It's in a school campus which more than 100 years old. Playground, indoor games are provided. Auditorium and labs are also good.

see st Thomas college of engineering is a private college under maulana abul kalam ajad university of technology, kolkata. where IIEST shivpur is centralized institute and comes under government college. IIEST college is far more better than st thomas college or any other private colleges in west bengal. iiest shivpur comes under top two colleges in west bengal after jadavpur university, kolkata. college has excellent placement record , excellent Infrastructure , students teacher ratio.
