St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur was established in the year 2004. It is one of the esteemed institutes of learning for engineering at Gavsi Manapur, Wardha Road, Nagpur. The college sprawls over an area of 15.97 acres. The institution is affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The approval comes from the All India Council of Technical Education. It has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, both of which only serve as testament to the commitment of the institution to the standard of education being disseminated. The total number of students enroled is 2,059 in number as the faculty number is at 123.

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering offers various programs in engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college offers 6 full-time BE programs in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, and Civil Engineering. During the recent past, many innovative programs have been brought in by the college, such as BE in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Business Systems, Cyber Security, and Industrial Internet of Things, reflecting their responsiveness to new emerging technological trends. It also offers at the postgraduate level M.Tech programs in CAD CAM and Computer Science and Engineering. 

St. Vincent Pallotti College admits students mainly through the scores in national and state level entrance exams. For admissions to undergraduate programs, admissions are done according to the performance of the student in the JEE (Main Paper I) or MHT CET conducted by the competent authority. In postgraduate courses, M.Tech admission will be done with consideration for performance in GATE. The college also has a facility for lateral entry for diploma holders in some of the BE programs. Candidates should, therefore, note that the institute entertains applications based on these standardized tests and it lays emphasis on merit-based admissions.
