St. Wilfreds Teachers Training College is a recognised and renowned teacher training college situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan which was started in 2006. Loacted in Meera Marg Mansarovar Sector-10, this is a co-educational college spread over a campus of 2.5 acres. The institute is known for its quality education and of this the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited the institute. Having received certification from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), St. Wilfreds runs as an affiliated college and possesses an exemplary annual capacity of 200 students for B.Ed course. The college has a strength of 391 students and 28 faculties which help maintain a good ratio of number of students to number of faculties.

At the moment, St. Wilfreds Teachers Training College only provides one full course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This Two years programme has proposed intake capacity of 200 seats which reveal the institute’s capability to produce number of future educators. The structure of the B.Ed course has inputs in the areas of teaching methodologies, educational psychology, and teaching methodologies in physical and natural sciences/ social sciences, so as to equip the students to become successful performers in the education industry.
The mode of entry for the B.Ed programme available in the St. Wilfreds Teachers Training College is in principle offered on the basis of the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET), a common entrance examination conducted at the state level. This competitive exam puts and locks the right person with the right aptitude and skills in the programme. It is important for future students to know when PTET is taken and the counselling that follows although the admission date varies in a given year. Scholarships are also promised by the college.
