About St Xavier's College, Ahmedabad
St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad was established in 1955 as a Jesuit College. It provides quality education to students and gained autonomous status from the UGC. St Xavier's College, Ahmedabad has been recognised as a "College with Potential for Excellence" since 2006.
The college is affiliated with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. SXCA offers Government-aided and self-financed programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Science. Xavier's College Ahmedabad offers various courses at the UG level, such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA (Hons), and BCA. College Infrastructure
It's an old institution hence needs some renovation. The benches ka mostly scribbled. There are only two washrooms in the entire college. The boards are bit old and keeps the ahemdabad summers in mind they should have AC.

The infrastructure is pretty good, its well maintained with good facilities and sanity, the college provides common sitting areas as well as a cafeteria, the classroom and labs are well equipped and it's well maintained.

College Infrastructure
College is good in terms of infrastructure, the library has books of almost all whats needed. The eLibrary functions are also great!. Sports facilities are good, competitions are held in respective fields.

- Students who wants to take admission in this college should have a good score in intermediate science stream with at least 55% marks.
- Candidates who are from ST and SC category offer admission in relaxation they get some reserved seats.
- Admission in b. sc. is based on the Merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates must have passed 10+2 in the science stream.
