Yes, the college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments which includes two libraries, various labs, audio visual rooms, halls, gymkhana, boys hostel, etc. And they are well maintained.
I'm pursuing my bachelor's in Arts, the college being an autonomous institute has made sure that the courses are well updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The courses are well crafted to meet the quality standards!
The college has its own placement cell which has been successfully functioning since it's initial phase! The college witnessed 100% placements last year with average salary of eight lakhs and the highest of 14 lakhs pa.
The college is well facilitated with a massive library, campus, canteen, gymnasium, etc. However the benches in some classrooms aren't in a proper condition. There's wifi as well which is great. The canteen food is pretty good and the college is always kept clean. U can easily just sit on the ground and that's a usual thing.
The subjects in BMS are taught very well by all the teachers. Since the college is autonomous, it has made sure that everything wrt the syllabus is up to date. Honestly I first took bms because I just wanted to do something wrt management. Our teachers are all very approachable too
So I haven't completed my 3rd year yet However fr what I've heard the placements are very good. Last year someone was placed with Deloitte for an annual package of 10 lacs. And even others r placed pretty well. There's a placement cell which you can approach for internshios which r pretty helpful
Definitely a value for money.Your spending much less as compared to other colleges. The fees are only 36000 rupees per annum. The countless opportunities to excel and do better makeup wash penny spent.
The campus life is A+ U can do a lot of activities in ur free time like badminton, volleyball, basketball, carrom, chess, etc. There are a number of fests u can engage with and that's really gonna help socialize. The college is also very close to the station and is well guarded.
Honestly, Xavier's made me come out of my comfort zone and I developed into a much better version of myself. Everything from academics to college life is amazing.
Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments required keeping in mind the special needs of the visually and physically challenged students in the college. Classrooms and libraries have WiFi and projectors.
I'm pursuing BSc Economics Mathematics and Statistics as i want to do my post graduation in data analysis and this is the most suitable undergraduate course for it. Our syllabus is up to date and our teachers make it a point to keep themselves updated along with the changing requirements of their respect fields.
St. Xavier's College, Mumbai has very good placements. It is because of the tireless efforts of the Placement Cell. Among the BSc courses, my course has one of the highest placement rates. The placement cell does a wonderful job in bringing in all the best companies from the respective fields for the best placement offers.
My course costs Rs. 8600 per annum which is veey less as compared to other colleges. The best part is that the quality of education offered is worth every penny paid and more. Not only does the college focus on academic achievement but also on overall shaping of our skills.
The college campus has an aesthetic feel to it because of the British architecture which has been very nicely preserved and maintained. The woods, the foyer and the arches are the usual spots the students use to hang out with their friends.
The libarary is one of the best libraries in the world. Students have access to every book in the library. We have a seperate lending libarary and reference library. Free WiFi is available for airtel and Vodafone users.
Teaching is done through assignments, making of documentaries, radio shows, presentations, plays and TV advertisements. The curriculum is not updated, since it is an autonomous college and they can choose if they wish to update the curriculum or not.
I am not quite sure, since I still haven't experienced it. However, based on the reviews of my seniors, the placement tell is supportive. A few of my friends have received jobs through the placement cell.
Since BMM is a self financed course, we had to pay 36k for the first year.
This college ensures all round development of your personality. It provides an opportunity to meet people living in different parts of the country.
The infrastructure is awesome but the lack in maintaining that infrastructure. When it comes to my physics lab they lack many required apparatus which are very much essential for the academic purpose. So the college must do something for the above mentioned issue .
The academic part of my college needs to improve because when it comes to the faculties even though they hold doctorate they aren't able to display their whole calibre of their knowledge. They should be able to implement new study patterns too.
Science field normally doesn't get jobs till they acquire masters in that particular subject which they wish to seek. Then too I must say my college have proven their ability to provide the way to cooperate world .
The cost of the course is cheap and it's really worth taking admission in such a college where studying could be really affordable and there is no burden of educational loan and all. The courses are open for all ups and downs
I really enjoy my campus life...it just includes everything from my friends to the college fests
The college infrastructure is outstanding. The aura of the college lies in the infrastructure itself. The classes are well equipped. There are two libraries with a vast spread of books. There is a gymkhana with modern facilities. The entire environment of the college is clean and well maintained.
I am doing my B.Sc. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is well updated according to the present developments. The teachers are approachable and always ready to help. The teaching is also good
The college has an independent placement cell which has attractive to various big shot companies over the years to recruit some smart brains for the campus. Last year the committee was able to achieve 100 percent placement.
It is surely worth each penny of the fees you pay.
The campus life is too good. It's not a college bt a way of life.
The infrastructure is historical. Though our college doesn't have a Ac but that's what makes it different from other colleges. The infrastructure is marvelous. WiFi works amazing and we also have smart boards.
Academics is too good in Xavier's. The professors are very sweet amd helpful. There is 75% attendance compulsory for all the courses which makes the students attend the lectures. Besides studying there are amazing fests in college which helps to build one's personality.
No idea because I'm still in first year but heard that the placements are amazing. Since alot of friends have been placed by our college. Highest package is offered in BA if someone gets BA in Economics along with Statistics.
For women, it's too less and completely worth.
College campus is too big so all kinds of sports can take place. Since there's an hospital besides the college it is very safe.
College has a gym, basketball and volleyball court. Laboratories are fully equipped and fire complaint. Smartboard and av in all the classrooms and free WiFi for students. College has huge canteen and cleanliness rating for canteen are 4. There is a wellness centre which has father for counselling.
Being autonomous college, syllabus is better than any other universities. The syllabus prepares you for future competitive exams. Teachers are helpful and motivates you to do more than in your curriculum.
There are no science based placement as I know of. But science students can apply for stats and eco placements. A general placement centre takes care of everything. But when you go out of xaviers you have the tag 'made of xaviers' which gives your priorities.
BSc is 5-7k per year. But you have to pay laboratory breakage charges which are minimal. It is value for money as it not only sharpen your academia but also inculcate leadership qualities in different fest. Students are made compulsory to work with NGO for one semester, hence fulfills your credits required for aboard Universities.
Campus has a huge foyer attached to canteen where there is something or other thing going on everyday. College has two libraries where all your movies have been shooted. Classrooms are numbered floor wise hence easy to navigate. You make amazing friends and amazing memories here.
It is not just a college but a way of living. We don't just follow western culture, there are cultural groups where you feel like home.
The college is indeed a sight to watch! It is known for its infrastructure of the quadrangle which makes it look like Hogwarts. Even the infrastructure inside the building makes it a dream college for everyone. Other facilities like the gymnasium, canteen, etc are also very efficient and gives one and amazing experience to be in this college.
St xaviers college is known to be the best college for arts in academics in Maharashtra. It ranks No1. All teachers are experts in their respective subjects who convey their knowledge in a way that everyone gains interest in it.
As per whatever i have heard till date by the seniors, majority of students get places at a package thats above average as compared to many other colleges. The eco-stats students take the best package of st xaviers college.
Being an aided college, st xaviers will give you the best education at a price which is not expected by any students. The normal fee is Rs. 5000/- . The girls even get a reduction In this fee. The quality education is definitely worth at the cost it takes.
If we ignore the attendance needed, one can have a fantastic campus life because of the extra curriculars the Xaviers offers. It has various sports that are conducted before and after the college hours. And its year round festivals keeps all students emgaged throughout.
For me, xaviers is all i couldve ever asked for. It gives me the best of experience, may it be related to fests, sports, or academics. As its tagline says, xaviers is not just a college, its a way of life!
Yes the college has all the required modern infrastructure facilities. The classrooms and labs are well equipped and we'll maintained. The library is furnished with vast variety of books. The gymkhana is well established with modern amenities.
The curriculum is well updated and modern with current knowledge. As a BMS Student, I would say that the Autonomous status of the college and it's ability to set it's own syllabus has proved to be an excellent benefit.
The placement quality of St.Xaviers College is excellent. The avg placements went for eight lakhs and the highest placement by Citi Bank went for fourteen lakhs. The candidates also achieved 100% placements
