St. Xavier’s Polytechnic College offers affiliated Degree in engineering and technology, Information & technology, and management Sciences established at Sivagangai in Tamil Nadu. It is however not clear when the college was started but it is apparent that the college is well established in the region. St. Xavier’s Polytechnic College is an AICTE approved institution providing Diploma Programmes in various specialisation of Engineering. The college has 43 Faculty members and has chosen the policy of having the right number of student intake so as to facilitate a right focused learning environment for its students.

They are four courses all through full time and takes three year each St. Xavier’s Polytechnic College offers four full-time diploma courses. The diploma programmes as mentioned below are offered by the university: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering ,Mechanical Engineering .Of them Mechanical Engineering has the highest number of intake capacity is 120 and the remaining three programmes have intakes capacity of 60 each.
