State Dr. Brij Kishore Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital situated at Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1972. This is a coeducational college that offers Bachelor of Medicine in Homeopathic System of Medicine. Being affiliated college approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) its syllabus and practices reflect national guidelines in homeopathic education and training. College provides only one course, the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course for which it has an approved strength of 30 students every year. The institution has four members in its faculty making the learning environment more intimate and preferring practical teachings to theory.

This is a detailed course, taking 6 years to complete, and lasting through to the Doctor of Medicine in homeopathy level. To achieve the above objective, the college admits only 30 students every year for this programme to enhance personal attention and quality delivery of the programme. This is also an advantage because there is a controlled number of students that can be admitted into the college a year hence better use of the colleges facilities and equipments in enhancing the education experience of the admitted student’s. 

The entry of a student to State Dr. Brij Kishore Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is done according to the NEET UG test. This national level examination is the only entrance for the BHMS programme in order to make fair selections. It expects students who wish to join their institution to produce clearance in NEET UG alongside the set cut off marks. The college follows a road map of admission formulated and regulated by the national medical education authorities and usually admits students once in a year.
