State Institute of Advanced Studies in Teacher Education, Kurukshetra: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

SIASTE is a center for advance studies in teachers' education Kurukshetra. Exclusive teacher education provided in the institute in the Haryana state. The eligibility criteria for SIASTE programs are basically 10+2 education from a recognized board. The demands of subjects vary as per the selected program. Age requirements and other conditions will also be demanded as per the National Council for Teacher Education, which is the approving body for SIASTE.

Application Procedure

1. Registration in CEE-: Applicants have to attend the Common Entrance Examination. Common Entrance Examination is a yardstick for anybody to join in SIASTE for any course.

2. Getting CEE- Score Card: The candidates will get the score card for CEE after the date of examination. The concerned score card is a must document in the process of admission.

3. Eligibility Verify your eligibility to your preferred program B.Sc B.Ed Integrated or BA B.Ed Integrated offered at SIASTE. The two eligibility criteria entail qualifying educational qualifications along with an age bar.

4. Application form: It may not be out of place to infer that with no procedure spelt out, all the students may submit an application form along with a copy of the score card of the CEE-examination either through the institute website or as prescribed, as one of the submission modes of SIASTE.

5. Document Collection: This may consist of,

• CEE- score card
• Mark sheet and certificate issued at 10th and 12th standards
• Birth proof
• Category certificate If applicable
• Any other document specified by the institute

6. Merit List and Counselling: SIASTE will prepare a merit list that is based on the performance of the candidate by obtaining scores in the CEE-. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process. In the counselling process, candidates can choose their favourite course according to the rank and availability of seats.

7. Admission Confirmation: After final selection, candidate's admission gets confirmed after submitting all necessary documents by paying necessary fees in the mentioned bank account.

8. Orientation and Programme Start: Admitted students are informed about an orientation program on the date a course will be starting.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc B.Ed Integrated This course of SIASTE is integrated in the degree level with a combination of Bachelor in Science and also with Bachelor of Education. Such courses are considered to be so rich in its subject knowledge, as well as in teaching skills. Admission occurs according to score card of CEE. Number of seats of this course of SIASTE is 70.

BA B.Ed Integrated: The institute is also running an integrated course with the name of BA B.Ed for all those students who wish to teach humanities and social science. Admissions in this programme would be offered to the students on the basis of performance in the CEE- test. The number of intakes in this course has been approved by the AICTE, up to 30 seats that would be proving a small section of attention by the faculty members for each student.
