• As per the State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM) Indore placement report, 16% of students choose entrepreneurship, 32% of students are placed in the hotel industry, and 47% of students are placed in Travel and tourism.

State Institute Of Hotel Management Indore was established in 1984. The institute imparts education to the students in the hospitality industry. The courses at the SIHM Indore include Diploma and Undergraduate (UG) courses. Prior to applying for the courses, candidates are required to match the specified eligibility criteria. Also, candidates should have a valid scorecard for the NCHM JEE entrance exam.

SIHM Indore offers diploma courses in various specialisations along with a B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration at the UG level. The course duration of offered diploma courses offered at SIHM are same. SIHM Indore has its own training and placement cell to organise all the placement activities. Apart from that, SIHM Indore provides all the required facilities to their students for their continuous growth. 

SIHM Indore is administratively and financially under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Bhopal. SIHM is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida (NCHMCT).
