Degree wise Admission Process
BCA: Bachelor of Computer Applications is a degree program offered for three years by the Study Centre for Computer Application. The total intake capacity for the BCA program is 80. The minimum eligibility for BCA admission is successful completion of 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects. The admissions for this course are purely merit-based, i.e. considering the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination.
MCA: The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a postgraduate degree program of two years which has an intake of 54 seats. The common eligibility condition for admission to the MCA course concerns that applicants have a bachelor's degree in an allied field. This kind of allied fields is not specifically stated; however, generally, these are degrees in computer science, information technology, and other related disciplines. Admission to the MCA course is also based on merit, presumably taking into consideration the performance of a candidate during undergraduate studies.
