Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science for women was started in the year 1994, it is one of the premier institution in Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college located on a 24 acre land has been slowly but surely in the academic progress for more than twenty five years. Affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the college is spread across six degree programmes, out of which 15 courses are offered. The college has in total 1327 students and faculty strength of 47 teachers thus giving them a good student-teacher ratio.
