Subharam Government Degree College, Punganur is the co-educational college situated in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The sub-campus started functioning in 1983. It offers undergraduate programmes in affiliation with IIIT of Andhra Pradesh. The campus spreads over an area of 14.5 acres. Now the campus population of student strength is 243, out of which 242 are boys and 61 are girl students. The college has a faculty strength of 6 members and offers 5 courses spread over 3 degree courses in the area of Commerce, Science, and Arts. 

Subharam Government Degree College has taken proper initiatives to maintain an academic atmosphere for students, making sure that all facilities are available for them to improve their academic and personal capabilities. The central space around which the institution revolves is the library. In this, the college has created a reservoir of about 10,000 books and journals, magazines, and newspapers. It is the core of knowledge storage and academic research. The college provides a large playground to those who like sports and fitness for the multiplicity of games such as cricket, football, volleyball, etc. It also equips a good gymnasium with all the facilities accessible to students and staff for their physical well-being. There are modern IT infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and adequately equipped laboratories that improve the learning process.
