Subhash Chandra Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college. Established in the variegated temporal crucible in 2012, this institution has an area of 3.138 acres, with as many as 1,301 students enrolled in its various educational programmes. The faculty strength is 52, and therefore the student-to-teacher ratio is quite congenial. Subhash Chandra Mahavidyalaya offers 10 courses in 6 degrees, namely, arts, sciences, commerce, and education. It is also approved by NCTE, New Delhi, which proves the standard of this institution in the teacher education section.

The admission process is different for different courses in Subhash Chandra Mahavidyalaya. For the B.Ed course, merit will prevail with reference to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as prescribed by the state government and university.
