Surabi School of Nursing, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, was established in 2008 and is one of the premier institute providing Nursing education. This is a co-educational institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) that prepares student for professional success in the nursing field. Located in a mere 2.5 acres, the school enrols about 155 students at a time and 12 members of faculty staff. Nursing practice lab with 10 bows, beds and spare inventory of necessary items allow the students to develop their practical skills. The skeletal and bones, skeleton models, charts and materials related to the subject provide more practical feeling to the student regarding human anatomy in the anatomy laboratory. Surabi School of Nursing offers one primary course, the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme. This course is full time and lasts for four years and the institution is allowed to take in 50 students in this course. The GNM programme has been developed in order to bring out full-fledged professional nurses with effective and efficient clinical knowledge and skills to practice as a professional in the health care sector. Although the institute is aiming at offering this particular course, the institute is serving to make sure that the students get a balanced diet in every sense in elating to the nursing exercise.
